Volunteer Opportunities:
If the numbers of members of who attended the May 23rd meeting to plan the 2011 COASTD WLP Conference is an indicator of success – then the 2011 Conference is going to be a HUGE success.
There was energy and electricity in the room, as a large number of members (new and established) proposed ideas for themes, speakers and “fun” to make this year’s conference – scheduled for October 25th – a spectacular experience.
Next Steps: Members of the Finance team are meeting to finalize the budget, and then the sub-teams will meet to set the plans in motion and team leaders will be named. If you were unable to attend the kick–off meeting, and would like to share your talents as a volunteer, please send an email to Jane Lewis at sislewis@ymail.com and let her know your area of interest and if you would like to co-chair the program or sub-team.
