Lead Them Laughing:  Training that packs a punch(line). Learn how to dramatically improve workplace training and development at this cutting edge workshop presented by the creative talent from Shadowbox Live and Franklin University.

Description: Attend this session and open your mind to new ways of thinking about training and development.

By presenting a series of comedy sketches covering a variety of topics, we have created a learning experience that’s both entertaining and useful.  You will be laughing so much the learning process will seem effortless!

Some key areas of focus include:

The importance of understanding your audience and aligning your training programs to their language, top initiatives, and professional growth goals.

The value of spending money to grow people even if you’re not absolutely certain what the return will be - the key driver is to truly believe in your people and provide quality development processes for their continued, sustainable growth.  The bottom line about making money is that long-term success requires enlightened decision making.

Shifting from a cost-focused mentality to a benefit-focused one.  Smart Thinking:  Take care of your customers and your employees.

Increasing employee engagement by discovering and developing individual talents.  While many people think they’re good at only one certain kind of task, it’s often surprising and rewarding to find out that’s not the case.

The significance of finding a common goal in team leadership and the dangers of simply “forcing” teamwork.

Learning Objectives:

In this session you will learn how to:

  • Gain decision-maker attention by demonstrating the value of your training/development programs
  • Free your participant’s minds to grow in their thinking and insights
